MY C.V.
Because of the amount of voluntary work, training, dance and, more recently, paid work that I have undertaken in the past eight years or so, my CV has now become a rather daunting document! I have therefore decided to give a very short resumé here and to offer a download link to the full version for anybody who wishes to see it.From the time that I got my first communication aid, about 13 years ago, I determined to fill the gaps in my education. I have attended many courses over those years, gaining a variety of qualifications. Since I first got involved with dance, I have specialised in the extra training that will help me in that field.
I also discovered that I had special skills and knowledge in the areas of Disability Awareness and Communication. I have, therefore sought further training in developing my presentational skills.
Over the last twelve years I have worked with a wide variety of organisations in Education, Local Authorities, Social Services and Health Departments, with Arts Organisations, National Charities and local charitable organisations. I have given Dance Performances and Workshops throughout the UK, many of them working with children. I have been a keynote speaker at numerous conferences and offered tailored training in a wide range of Disability and Communication issues.
